Conversion to Dinette
So the table is heavy. And not really all that manageable, or very stable seeming when setup for an under way period. A fixed table, that drops down seems to be a more reasonable idea. This also provides a nice low and center of the boat area to fit a battery box to fit 4 6v GC2 batteries, which should yeild about 400-450 amp-hours. This area will also be easy access.
This is what I’ve got so far.
I’ll hopefully be painting soon, I’ve started the covering of the bulkhead. It really ought to be replaced with a one maybe two piece section, But I’ve got some other plans with moving the loads from chain plates that mount to the bulkhead to the exterior of the hull.
